We have just booked this Cruise and are looking to hire a Taxi from Livorno to Florence.

Is there anyone who would like to discuss the possibility of sharing?

We did this last September. The guide gives you a map and a telephone number just in case. They walk you in to the meeting point ( this took about 15 to 20 mins). Ours was outside a cafe where you could use the facilities. The price of the excursion also included a ticket for a drink in the cafe. Would highly recommend as its a long way from Livorno to Florence.

Thank you so much for your replies. If we don't go by Taxi, I think we will have to give Florence a miss, which will be a shame (medical reasons). We have been to Italy quite a few times on Cruises and never been to Florence. My Dad was stationed around there and he bought my Mum her gold watch from there, which I now wear with pride. It would be great if it was a Family Jewellers that has been handed down and we could find it. I doubt that also.

Sorry Jean but A526 isn't sailing........were on 525 and were just going to keep sailing round and round and round.......!!!
