I would like to remind the forum that QB is 65 today and has just received his bus pass and free heating allowance

Very droll but thanks anyway. By that calculation, the Queen is about 102 !

Seems I can claim a bus pass 11 days before my 64th birthday - slightly random date but that's what the gov.uk site says. Sorry, lads, still a way to go yet!
