Unread post by Stephen »

This story made me laugh when I heard it on the Andrew Marr show this morning

Three water cannon for sale. Slightly used.

Please contact Boris Johnson for more details

I'm thinking of making an offer on one. I could stake out the garden, on the watch for all the neighbourhood cats who consider my flower beds a luxury toilet.

You’re all too late.

Wee Mrs Krankie has bought them all to be mounted at the M6 crossing of the river Sark at Gretna; the A68 at Carter Bar; the A1 on the River Tweed bridge, so as to stop the marauding hoards of Englishmen who will be fleeing the Cameron Clan’s takeover of yon wee parliament in Londonshire when they pull you all out of the EU!!

Hi Stephen..I've never thought of Boris in terms of being a 'drip' but to fork out £218k without him knowing if he was going to be allowed to use the bloody things dose seem to be a bit of a wet idea

Anyway lets look on the bright side it puts his party one step closer to their Christmas target of 50 u-turns.

Regards

Keith

btw..I've just seen the thread where you were sending out distress calls for your mate Onelife...you're a big soffty...but I love you

Hugs and kisses

Like a lot of misconceptions people make, I actually agree with you Graham. Although I am a staunch nationalist I also believe in the union.

Now comes the big question, "Which Union"? Living only six miles from the birth place of Ramsay MacDonald and now finding myself being somewhere to the left of Karl Marx, I find I have no political party left in Scotland to vote for!!

Stephen in answer to a red wine guzzling “Down Soufer” I would refer you to the following set of data regarding our local grog!

Stephen, you can't beat a nice drop of Oban! Very light and subtle, ideal for an introduction to Scotland's finest product.

I am currently enjoying a bottle of Talisker. I love the peaty smoky flavour. Alternatively I enjoy a glass or two of Glengoyne which is distilled at Dumgoyne not far from Glasgow using water which comes off limestone which makes it a very smooth whisky. We happened upon it whilst doing the West Highland Way and my wife made me go round the distillery!!!
If Mrs Krankie gets her way and Scotland goes it alone I'll arrange to have it piped down over the border.
It could all be a tad strong for the gentle palates of the suvverners.

Can't argue with that since I'm rather partial to a drop of the fire water
