I hope only for a while

If you are a reader of my blogs, you will know that my cruising has been out in hold for some medical treatment for my CLL.

Things have gone a bit pear shaped as they have found Mr C lurching in my brain and bones, so the treatment is now going to be a bit more extensive.
This post in not to gain sympathy, but to ask if you have a faith to remember me in your prayers. If you do not have not faith, just keep the positive thoughts coming my way.

All the best Ray, I know exactly what's in store. I have only two days of Radiotherapy left on both orbits, then a four week rest before six FRC chemo cycles this time. However, if as in your case it gets into the central nervous system normal chemo drugs don't work and others have to be used instead as the cerebral fluid repels most cytotoxic drugs.

However, it will work!! Been there, done it, into remission for several years then up it pops in my eyes. CLL is a nasty little blighter, but multiple remissions are common.

Hello Ray..I don't do the faith thing but I do believe that those who keep positive even when life throws the worst it can at them they have a much better chance of giving cancer a boot up the a*se if they keep thinking.. 'where do I want to be in 5 years time'..keep looking forward Ray
