Winter Sports
I spent the afternoon watching Hull KR beat Hull FC this afternoon in a pre season friendly.
Dennis ....I was bored, it was not a classic.
Romig..I did not get wet but I was bloody freezing and spent the last twenty minutes wishing there was room for me under the rug that my mother was sharing with Miss AOTH.
I came away from the game thinking to myself that the best thing the Rugby League (and Sky) ever did was switch our playing season from the winter to the summer. You hardy football and Rugby Union types can keep the winter ta very much!!
Regards
Rob aka AOTH

Re: Winter Sports
Have to admit that I do enjoy the early season games in August - when in Huddersfield it's possible to attend football matches wearing little more than a Footie shirt, thin jumper, thick jumper and fleece.
Winter matches can be somewhat more challenging as you know, and it's easily possible to go to matches looking much like the Michelin Man.
