Kindle on an iPad
Anyone know how to transfer Sony ereader books into the Kindle app on an iPad?
So far I have managed to remove the DRM and convert the format but now I am stuck (or to be more precise Mrs63 is stuck) with them on the laptop and cannot see a way of moving them over.

Would this link help?
My favourite eReader application is 'Calibre' but I have no idea how good, or bad, it is with an iPad.

All sorted.
Just for reference if anyone else needs to do this here is the procedure:
1. Download and install ePUBee DRM Removal tool to remove the DRM from the Sony E-books.
2. Remove the DRM from the required books.
3. Download and install Calibre
4. Add the books to the Calibre library and then convert them to MOBI format.
5. Download and install Send to Kindle
6. Locate the books and right click to send to Kindle (this assumes that you already have your Kindle account set up)
7. Log into your Kindle account and "Deliver to ..." your iPad

Call me a Luddite if you like - I do have a Kindle Fire but I still like to read a proper book

OK Luddite - however taking books for six weeks in NZ does create somewhat of a weight problem and buying them over there is a definite no, no due to the extortionate price (roughly 2 - 3 times UK prices)

Fair point, but I would have thought there was plenty to occupy a chap in NZ without a load of books.
There's the sheep...and the sheep...and then the sheep......and..... OK, load up the kindle !

If you read the OP you would have realised that the books are for Mrs62 not I

I did take a picture of my own when we passed this place, but it's on the pooter at home. I think they were either pink or purple when we were there.qbman1 wrote:Do you have a picture handy for every occasion, R ?
