Re: I'm back
It's good to see you back Ray especially since you have brought good news.
My brother was diagnosed with a brain tumour a year ago. They operated on him and then he went through a course of radio therapy which he didn't particularly enjoy but he remained positive and went along with it. He then embarked on a course of chemo and despite all the stories we had been told he sailed through that (sorry for the unintended pun) without any great ill effects. The remains of the tumour are now stable and whilst we know there is no cure for him we are told they can 'manage' it.
And as an aside his hair has grown back, even where he had the radio treatment and not a grey hair to be seen.
Stay positive Ray and enjoy that cruise!!!

Re: I'm back
I'm also just out of Aberdeen ARI today Ray, still very sore but this time it looks like my radiotherapy has zapped enough of them to make me feel better. I will know on Monday if I am entering a remission phase or not.
Just hang on in there!! and we will both beat them yet.
Best regards to your dear lady who I know will be shouldering a great deal as my own dear lady is!!

Re: I'm back
It's deffo a struggle, you two, but thankfully these days many people who have had a terminal diagnosis will get through it ... albeit eventually.
Best foot forward and make the most of your cruise, Ray.
