You can look it up in the National Trust handbook Foxy. The charge for visiting Moby's place is very reasonable

Cant believe some of the rubbish and "opinions" on this thread..
Everyone entitled to their own of course...
BUT IMO...some people need to get out more and worry about real things in life...

Re: The Demise of the Carrier Bag
I use Ocado most weeks - they have a different system. Everything comes in carrier bags as usual and I give the driver the ones from the previous week. For each bag they use in the delivery they charge 5p but then they deduct 5p from your bill for every bag you give back. For example this week my shopping was delivered in 8 bags - 40p charge. I gave the driver 10 bags back - so 50p put back on my account so I was 10p up! Seems to work fine. I get an email telling me my final bill once the bag thing has been sorted. I'd much rather they did it this way than deliver everything in crates.

Re: The Demise of the Carrier Bag
Were they branded?
I've rather lost the will here - I cannot remember whether it is OK to brandish a Tesco bag if it is free or if we are boycotting them ?!

Re: The Demise of the Carrier Bag
I wonder how many of those who object to paying 5p for a branded carrier bag have a Liberty or Harrods bag at home or cut out designer labels and motifs from their clothes. Just asking............
Nowadays it's virtually impossible to get away from branding.

Now there's a thought. Have any retailers thought of bringing them back? Ideal for veg.

Re: The Demise of the Carrier Bag
I can assure you that I have neither Liberty nor Harrods bags. And I don't ever wear designer labels. So yes, I'm objecting to pay to advertise on carrier bags!oldbluefox wrote:I wonder how many of those who object to paying 5p for a branded carrier bag have a Liberty or Harrods bag at home or cut out designer labels and motifs from their clothes.
