I too hate the long run up to Christmas. All the decorations appearing in the shops in October/November. In fact I hate the run up to all the festivals, Halloween (whatever that is)..... Rememberance poppies appearing in October. Our DD's birthday is on 2nd December and Christmas preparations don not begin until after that date in our house!!

Let's not be too hasty David. Cruising is one thing, Christmas is another. I shall try and keep the two apart as much as I can. And anyway our cruise is purely cultural

I made myself a snowball
As perfect as could be.
I thought I'd keep it as a pet
And let it sleep with me.
I made it some pyjamas
And a pillow for its head.
Then last night it ran away,
But first it wet the bed.
