You sure it was Lymington not Lyndhurst? Lymington isn't on the way to anywhere really.

There used to be a very high quality butchers in Lyndhurst, 'Strides' I think it was, my Brother in law worked there.
We have lots of things in the Forest, pigs & deer too...all varieties of deer I think.
