It is!

The stats:
Possession: 63/37% in favour of Town
Shots: 19/8 to Town
On Target: 6/4 to Town......

But, the only one that counts is Goals: 3/0 to L**ds!

Not the rout that the score would suggest. Two poor lapses by our full-backs for their first two, and a wonder strike for their third. Town need to be more incisive and clinical, hopefully Herr Wagner will have some interesting ideas. Oh, and they should have been down to 10 men just before they scored the first, but the ref bottled it and did what many refs do (ie not giving a second yellow for a clear booking offence).

I see that Chelsea lost again. Is The Sulky One still in a job? And if so....how?

Another great result for Leicester. Level on points at the top of the Prem, and Vardy scored again!

Well done those Foxes

It's a tough enough place to go to without having our goalie gifting them 2 goals

Not a great performance from an Arsenal perspective no pace.. But they still couldn't beat us.

The England France game is still going ahead. I think it's the correct decision....what say you?

In the light of what's happened I think it is very much the right decision - a good opportunity to show solidarity with the French people and demonstrate that the terrorists cannot win. I presume security will be very tight.

Hopefully England will put on a better display than they did last night. I thought in all departments they were woeful.

Just been watching the highlights from yesterday's charity match org for Unicef. The class of the ex-Utd players shone through....wonder if they are interested in playing for Town.... even in their late 30's & 40's they are still better than half our existing lot!

Don't worry Rob, after 5 days in Marbella Wagner will have his new men running "rings" round the opposition.

I was chatting with Mel Booth yesterday. Asked about the new potential playing style, he replied that it's a great idea...but he needs to have the players to do it. :)

Thanks for the commiserations!

After a dismal day at Kidderminster - this was only their 2nd win since March - it was a tonic to watch the charity match with so many smiling players and no dives!

Still, we assume our players are saving themselves for the FA replay at Bradford on Wednesday? If not, at least we come away with £33,750 tv rights and half the gate money.

Please shoot me now.

Played well in the first half. Then One up from 58 to 78 mins....and ended up losing 3-1

Unless our new German coach can work some miracles with some mediocre players then it's going to be a very long season, with a relegation at the end.

Well done to Vardy though!

I was hoping Watford might do us a favour and take points off United but they were unlucky with an injury time OG. :(
With Arsenal unexpectedly losing to the Baggies and Liverpool going rampant at City it would have rounded off a perfect weekend for us. Not complaining though. Just 12 points away from safety (ish) and Mr Ranieri will have achieved his first target.
Despite Vardy being in a rich vein of form I wonder how much longer Woy is going to play him out of position, if he plays him at all in favour of his favourites at Spurs. I can't understand why Drinkwater has been overlooked. He is outstanding in the middle of the park but doesn't even make the squad. Unfortunately, if you don't play for one of the 'fashionable' teams your performances seem to count for little. If England were playing well I could understand it better but the games I have seen lately they look dull and uninspiring, despite the results which make them look better than they are.

It's a breath of fresh air to see the Foxes riding high, and it must be remembered that both Vardy and Danny Dishwater learned everything they know at Halifax & Huddersfield respectively. ;)

That explains it then. Wrong accent for Woy, tha knows!!! ;)
I wonder how much longer the wally with the brolly can survive at Newcastle.
And what will become of Charlie Austin? We put in a bid of £12 million for him in the summer which he, and QPR turned down. He is out of contract in the summer and now says he wants to stay in London but who is going to want him? I fear he is pricing himself out of the market which explains why nobody seems much interested in him at the moment. Unfortunately for him there are plenty of others out there who would jump at the chance of Premiership football.

I know what you mean about The Wally.. Despite having a pot of gold at Derby, his team totally undererperformed, yet he was welcomed with open arms to Newcastle. Talk about rewarding failure!

The whole manager merry-go-round makes me laugh though. Whilst I appreciate that a previously unsuccessful manager may find his perfect fit at another club, this rarely happens and the same old people just rotate between the clubs. Unfortunately for them, there are more managers than clubs, so a sit on the sidelines is always going to be a possibility for some. I may have some sympathy, if they weren't being compensated for their failure/sacking. The fact that Steve Evans was sacked by Rotherham, then went to a much bigger club (who's name escapes me ;) )tickles me no end.

But, in seriousness, I do think the fact that most clubs go for the safe option of an experienced manager does limit the opportunities for fresh talent to come through. As such, I do applaud Huddersfield's new signing of a foreign head coach, who is taking on his first position as the number 1.

On the subject of managers, why has no one snapped up Brendan Rogers yet, after watching what was essentially his team playing his style of football totally slaughter Man City last night, surely someone will sign him up soon.

We were unlucky but also extremely lucky to have survived the first half. T' Hornets must have spent the previous week training to beat ManU's mega boring style but due to multiple injuries Van Whoosher changed the system and caught us out big time .

Town today bossed the game vs Boro, yet lost 2-0.

75% possession shows the dominance, yet it counts for nowt without the goals to match the performance. Despite the loss, I feel very optimistic - the players are clearly getting the hang of Wagner's ideas, and the Gegenpressing led to us winning possession countless times in the final third.Usual failings however - the inability to be clinical in front of goal - led some disappointment, though their keeper made some good saves and we did hit the bar.

I was surprised to read in the programme of one of the Boro players. I didn't realise that Mobyplod's wife played football?
