You've inspired me, Spuddy, and I've done all my Christmas shopping this afternoon. Just waiting for Mr Amazon to call round now !!
Mr Amazon..aka Santa... :D
lolol

Hope you got lovely wrapping paper....too.
Debenhams have some good offers on...lol
If Amazon don't sell it, I don't need it. None of this Debenhams nonsense, please !!

I didn't go for gift wrapping - I only have Mrs C to buy for so I can manage that, thanks

A large brandy or Whisky helps to get through all the repeats

Best save that for later - after sitting through an Arsenal game, he'll need a large one !!

I'm another who enjoys football on Boxing Day after all the excitement of Christmas Day. It's a time of relaxation for us when life returns back to normal and there's nothing better than a Boxing Day match.
Sadly some of the traditions are disappearing. On Christmas Eve there's always a peal of bells for the midnight service but sadly the village brass band no longer come round. They always used to arrive on our street about 2.00 in the morning, obviously inebriated and the worse for wear. They stood on the corner and played a couple of carols before staggering off to their next port of call. It's a shame it has now died out.
I was taught to be cautious

I have two season tickets. Football on TV is a pale imitation.

Sadly, I won't be spending Christmas with QBob this year - no dressing up for him, and no footy for me !!

A great shame, QB, but I shall be thinking of you :)

That cruise we did was a one-off as a special break for us after they had cut my chest open that summer. I must say though that it was a great relief not to have to put up any decorations nor take them down again once we got back home.
