How bizarre is that, Sarreguemines is one of the most land locked towns in France on the border of Germany some 250 kms from the sea.Although it has a similar length and beam to the commercial barges on the French canals I doubt the headroom would allow it to pass under some of the bridges.

At just under a million euros it looks like an expensive 3 bedroom folly to me but how sad that he died not long after completing it.
