Anyways, I presume the "rules" (and Merv!) allow me to comment on previous posts by ignoring the last one ?

I knew Richard Fiddes when he set up Fiddes Payne in a little back alley off Banbury High Street and used bored housewives of pack the spices in their homes. The boy's done well. Incidentally, whilst name-dropping, I was also at college with Kirit Patak - now head honcho of Patak Spices. His family were hoofed out of Kenya and they now have a global corporation. I must have taught them all I know! Kirit was a right lad - he used to drive around in a blue mini-van with a mattress in the back !!

Anyway if it's moribund why is Townie still commenting on it? Ha ha, got him there.

Looks alive and well, much to my surprise. And since it's been here I've not seen any going off topic on other threads at all.
