I feel a headache coming on - some of the current threads are going to be very contentious and guaranteed to go off topic

Re: The Children's Off Topic Thread
In the absence of the late Merv, can I point out that you have mentioned both "thread" and "topic" in one post so that certainly merit's a yellow card !!
Mind you, so long as DK is around, any thread is going to get contentious !!

Re: The Children's Off Topic Thread
What was that game where you had to answer the question before last ?
This is a bit like that as the late Merv says we cannot refer to the previous post but can respond to an earlier one
Anyways, surely no one who cruises really thinks cruising is posh these days but it is a perception of non-cruisers due to the former elitist nature of cruising going back pre-1960 - and probably fuelled to a certain extent by the formal dress codes. I am sure there are a few hairy dockers in 'Ull who have never owned a DJ !!

the American army can erect a fully working Maccie D's in less time than it takes to bomb an oil rich country and introduce them to democracy

You know Moby that if you locked it and we couldn't be idiots here we'd just have to go back to being idiots everywhere else. Look on it as a naughty step, so you know where the naughty children are.Manoverboard wrote:I thought about it but decided that in the spirit of Christmas .... sod it.qbman1 wrote:Thought Moby was locking this on 199

My thoughts are with the unfortunate people of Gibraltar just now. Stuck between a rock and a hard-up place.
