Fab trees Sue - your rooms look lovely - I'm not even getting my tree out of the attic this year as I'll be away for Christmas - I'll leave it to P&O to do the decorations for me

 IT STARTS TODAY,
The grand kids are invading us in an hour to dress the tree and Granddad has had his orders to get the decorations from the loft. Grandma has also had orders to have bacon sarnies on the go for when they arrive but I think that order was spurred on by their mother who is the biggest kid of them all. I feel a large brandy will be my order of the day when they have gone.

I am getting really, really sick of it. We managed to miss three weeks but we've been back for four and there's still two to go.

If I hear 'The Most Wonderful Time of the Year' or 'It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas' one more time I swear I shall thcream and thcream 'till I'm thick...

Sorry it starts tomorrow, I have just phoned daughter to ask what time they are arriving and she said in another 24 hours dad, I am at work and the kids are at school it's FRIDAY, good job Cheryl is on the ball or I would have had 4 bacon sarnies to eat.

Old age and vintage cider don't mix, we went out last night and I had four pints of the stuff which is more than I usually drink in a fortnight.

Can someone post up and let me know what happened in the world on Thursday lol.

Lovely photos of all the trees and I love the photo of the children, Sue - I bet the lad on the right with the big grin and his arms folded is the cheeky chappie of the group. :)

Have a lovely Christmas (so long as you are not too worn out)

That was my thought QBob when I started this thread. I'm ready for it now but I could have done without the last month. It was November 6th when I heard my first Christmas song. I'm festive now but bah humbug then. Happy Easter by the way.

Great photo of the lads. Were the jim-jams a job lot (another 20 pairs under the stairs)? They look ready for Christmas anyway.

Hope Santa fills those sacks with lots of nice things, Gill.

I've been looking for things to decorate the cabin door on Oceana and those two decorations on your white doors would have been ideal. I'm going to the Christmas Market in Bath this weekend so hopefully I will find something suitable there.

Maureen, I bought enough for every door, when last in Disneyworld about 6 or 7 years ago. Each year they come out and I think they look lovely, though they drive Tony mad because the bells jingle every time the doors are opened or closed lol
