As usual Graham you are correct, the overpayment of course stems from the original Sky contract with the Premier League, but made much worse by those stupid people in Brussels demanding that there had to be competition to Sky resulting in a bidding war which drove up the cost of the TV rights. The result is the PL is awash with money and the winners are the players and managers, and the losers are the TV customers who now have to pay far more than if there was just a Sky benevolent dictatorship, as well as the FA and the England team, where Wwoy has a limited choice of players from the top league.gfwgfw wrote:Dear Footie Pals
