We passed the winter solstice at 04:48 this morning so give it about 3 days to make sure that the sun is definitely coming back and then we can all have a big feast and get drunk.

Got a 280 mile drive ( glad the Forth Bridge has reopened as that saves 50). Wonder how many times I'll hear Chris Rea! Leaving at 6:00 will we make the Watchnight Service? Happy Christmas!

Same thing has happened to my husband I've done a temporary repair using "DenTek Temparin" from Boots it's easy to use and stops more damage to the tooth until you can get a dental appointment. I usually take some with us in the first aid kit when going on holiday.

Nasty.

If something like that is going to happen it'll happen at Christmas. Is there an out of hours emergency dentist you can use.

Forgot to mention that you shall find it by the dental floss etc. My husband says that it works a treat!

Hi happydays/Stephen

Thank you.

I do actually have a dental repair kit which was purchased for our last cruise....what appears to have happened is the back of my front tooth has broken away but left the front of the tooth intact. I'm not in any pain and the hole it has left doesn't have any sharp edges....other than my tongue wanting to prod around it l think it can wait until next week for repair.

I'll be hoping 'Pearl Acclaim' 2.30 at Chelmsford tomorrow can do the business to help pay for what will no dobht be an extortionate dental repair.

Keep smiling

Regards

Keith

I fear it isn't - now's the bit I dislike, when it drags on for weeks afterwards. If we didn't have visitors, the decorations would be coming down...
