Looks like I might need a shovel to clear my drive in the morning before we set off for Southampton, still snowing so there could be a fair covering come the morning.

Hi towny

It's noticeably got warmer here in the Midlands so you should have a clear run from here down to Southhampton.

Have a lovely cruise

Regards

Keith

According to the BBC weather report this morning tonight is going to be the coldest so far. In the minuses.

So get your knitted thermals out.

I realised last night that I haven't drained my water feature off so that,s a job for today I hope the frost hasn't damaged the pump, due to the mild winter so far I am still using the logs I brought down to the garage last winter and the log shed is full to the brim.

Has anyone on here ever burnt Holly ?, I know the bakers in Ireland used to use it in their bread ovens so it must burn well. The reason I ask is a friend wants me to trim down a Holly in his garden so I will bring the logs home and season them for a couple of years.

The snow has vanished here and at six this morning it didn't feel that cold outside.

Drives me bonkers seeing the rubbish people keep in their garages - my sons are guilty of storing all sorts of things and never able to get the car in. Mind you in the newer houses the garage wouldn't even house my Mini let alone a family car

Not guilty Jan, our garage houses Cheryl's car (she wont leave her baby out in the cold), a cement mixer, three bikes, my wine and of course the logs. My car despite being newer and our main transport has to sit out in all weathers.

Sorry if we offend you, Blod, but Mrs C uses most of our garage as her flower workshop

Our garage was a push for an old style Mini, let alone my Bentley or the Aston.

Snow's nearly gone here, apart from next door's interesting snowman.
