Why not get it fixed with another company. Yes I know you normally have to use the a glass company your insurance company allocates, but if they can't fix it straight away then they should authorise you to take it else where.

But seriously, as a teenager I was once alone for 20 minutes with Cliff Richard and he didn't attack me. Mind you I was an ugly kid.......
