Harmony of The Sea

Unread post by gfwgfw »

Evening All . . . from a very sunny rural Darzet

I have enjoyed a visit on board "Harmony of The Sea"

And was amused that passenger's are given a Satellite Navigator to find their way this huge ship

This reminds me that I once, tongue in cheek, suggested Sat Nav should be a must on Arcadia at the "Meet the Captain" end of cruise meeting many years since :D

This ship is seriously mega big

Luboo all

Too big Graham.
I am doing talks about Titanic and Carpathia in Bournemouth this week, and one of the points I shall make at the end is that Lord Mersey's recommendations at the end of the Titanic enquiry were for hull subdivision in passenger ships, and that those recommendations have still not been completely accepted by IMO.

Hope you enjoyed your trip any way. I would like to have seen her even if I will never sail on her.

I bet the type of passengers who still can't find the dining room after two weeks won't be able to work the gizmo either. But nice idea.

If they haven't eaten for two weeks they'd be at death's door and all the other passengers would be tripping over them.
