Shore Excursions on new Cruise Personaliser

Unread post by Bobbie »

I've just been on my CP for the first time since it changed, to see if the shore excursions were on there yet for my fjords cruise in a few months' time. They were, but I was rather disappointed to see that the departure times were not given, only the duration of the tour. I am one of these people who can't do anything too early in the morning due to a medical problem so need to book something that leaves no earlier than about 10am. I'm sure when I've booked before, the departure time has been given and also there were sometimes excursions that left at different times, maybe one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I remember last year trying to book an afternoon excursion but it kept coming up as the morning one, so in the end I didn't bother as I didn't want to take a chance. I suppose I'll just have to wait until I get onboard and hope there are spaces left if I want to book.

Bobmaybe if you contact the call centre they might have more information.
Maybe they do not have fixed times yet and therefore can't give them out but that could be an important issue for quite a few people.

When I clicked on an excursion to book it the available times were then listed for selection and that is because there can be a choice.

So ... are you saying there are no times at all or that there are none to be seen initially while you are looking at the excursion detail ' prior ' to placing a booking ?

ps ... you will be required to confirm so there are no issues going into the booking procedure ;)
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

I like to know times too, but as previously said sometimes the actual time or choice of time doesn't come up until yo go through the motions of booking.

I clicked on "View and book" but didn't go any further, so I will try that, as if I am going to book. Thanks for that information.
