Hi qb.....whatever happens today l'll be leaving Cheltenham £315 better off. :D

Very tricky today so caution is advised...

1.30 Sceau Royal ew

2.10 Fethard player ew

2.50 Barter Hill

3.30 Djackadam

4.10 On the fringe

At 66/1 Surf and Turf 5.30 might have an ew squeak.

a 33/1 2nd place is quite impressive !

Another winner ! Hardly going to be able to retire, though - a measly 13/8f

They say there are winners and losers in any sport but in reality there are no losers when you have enjoyed 4 days of the best NH racing you will see anywhere in the world.

There were some fantastic stand out performances..Sprinter Sacre, Duvan, Vatour, Don Cossack to name a few. Victoria Pendelton did well to finish a fast finishing 5th in her race.

Like a fool I promised my daughter a kayaking drysuit if I did well at Cheltenham so that's my winnings taken care of.

Last but not least thanks to qb for highlighting the ups and downs of racing :)

I must apologise for my behaviour here yesterday - at least 6 posts on topic. I accept my punishment with good grace.

Off home in a minute - wonder whether it has dried up enough to get a bit of digging done? Really ought to be getting some seed potatoes and onion sets in.

Interesting fact no74 - the traditional time for planting new potato seed is St Patrick's Day

My neighbour has gone on holiday in Communicado. I had to look it up on google, and apparently it's not far from Cognito.
