Oh dear, Sorry to hear that. Is this a permanent thing QB that can be controlled with drugs or can he be made better.

At the risk of being branded an "on-topic sinner"...

Apparently it is something that can happen with no apparent cause. The trigger could be an infection (he has had problems with his ears) or even something as simple as paint fumes (we have redecorated two rooms this year). His blood tests have all been clear so there is no underlying problem.

It is a form of epilepsy and they call is "cluster seizures" meaning he is likely to have a few but it is possible that they may clear up in time. There is no lasting damage and it is really a case of being as sure as we can that he doesn't injure himself. We allow him out during the day but make sure he is safely shut in at bedtime.

There is a drug to control it but that is not really recommended as long-term use can cause liver damage. At the moment he seems to recover fairly quickly and his quality of life is still pretty good so I think we are just going ot have to live with it and see how he goes on.

This logic puzzle is doing the rounds:

A bat and ball cost £1.10.

The bat costs one pound more than the ball.

How much does the ball cost?
