Clocks go forward tonight!

Unread post by The Tinker »

Don't forget everyone to change your clocks tonight - unfortunately we lose an hour's sleep

Never realised how many clocks/time keepers I have in my house until I got nominated this year to change them all!

Damned stupid idea if you ask me. Just put them two hours ahead of GMT/UTC and I'd be happy. I have never been able to understand why it's called Daylight Saving Time either. We never seem to get any more daylight.

I remembered!
Have done the easy ones for the moment, shall do the oven/cooker one in the morning as it is a nuisance to do. Good night, shall soon be time to get up;)

Arrrggghhh, just got in and realised that it's an hour later! Maybe I'll sleep in - fat chance!

Nor me I woke up earlier than usual, why does that happen?

Why don't we just split the difference world-wide and put them forward (if at this time of year) or back (if it was to be done in autumn) by half an hour and then just leave it at that permanently?
