Thanks for asking - I was just going to post an update. He was coming on well and had a really good day yesterday (probably fuelled by the antibiotics, steroids and painkiller) but he's had 2 more fits in the last 12 hours and he's pretty zonked at the moment. Doesn't look good but we have a follow-up appointment at the vet tomorrow morning so we will have to see whether they think he has a chance of getting over it.
Hope all goes well for the little chap. Our old much-loved cat had fits in later life - caused by either failing kidneys or raised BP (vet never could decide). If it's any comfort to you, it was awful to watch, but the cat seemed unbothered afterwards.

Fingers crossed for you.

I'm at home nursemaiding the puddy now so Mrs C can do the shopping

She thought he was on his last legs this morning but he seems to have perked up and he's sleeping right now. It doesn't help that he's dislocated his sternum so I'm sure the fits must cause him some pain afterwards

Thanks for the reassurance Annie

New telly ordered today from JL. Lets hope this one comes up to snuff.
What sort did you buy Stephen, presumably a "Smart TV" and HD, my son is wondering whether to buy a new one and is it worth buying Ultra HD now or waiting till more programming is available.

A Samsung ' curved ' 43" would do us nicely if they care to sell it here in the UK like wot they do in the rest of the EU .... UD is no good below 48", or so I was advised by a bloke wot knows.

I wanted to give our lavender hedge a short back and sides yesterday, but it was too darned cold and it rained a bit as well. I did cut the lawns on Thursday though when it was quite warm and sunny.

Just had a nice little refund from John Lewis.
I just happened to notice the TV we purchased online from them on Thursday had come down in price by £10. A quick call to JL and they refunded the difference, no quibble. Result
