Ayeeshia Jane Smith Rip

Unread post by Onelife »

I'm trying not to think about what this poor child must have gone through before her mother eventually beat the life out of her. One can only hope this bitch of a mother experiences the same kind of hell she has put her daughter through.

May the love in every decent person find a moment to remember Ayeeshia short life.

Yet another child so badly let down by social services.

This woman isn't fit to be called a mother and I for one hope she gets her comeuppance in her 'new home'

Poor Ayeeshia no child should be subjected to that sort of abuse. RIP

Whilst I have little time for Social Services I think in most of these cases their hands are tied by the rights of the parents. They often find themselves in a no win situation. Often these people have lawyers (and the media to some extent) who are ever ready to jump on the bandwagon and level accusations of heavy handedness by SS. However, when you look at the litany of abuse this poor child suffered over a period of time the law should place the child's welfare first and foremost. I struggle to understand how the child's grandparents, aunts, uncles stood by when all of this was going on although some families are so b****y dysfunctional they should never be allowed to have children!!!
It annoys me to think of the suffering this poor mite endured in her short and tormented life. I would rather not say what I think should happen to the mother.

You are probably right Foxy but how many times have we heard 'things will be put in place to stop this ever happening again' and invariably it does happen again a few months later.

I know the point you are making DQ but times I have sat in on case conferences and seen children returned to their birth mother when they have thrived in foster care and there has been nothing anybody could do about it. Months later they are back in foster care again and so the cycle goes on.
However in this case there seems to have been so many warning signs for action to have been taken. It seems the rights of the parent supercede those of the child.
Another thought. Why didn't the birth father do something about it. I find it amazing that so many people who could, and should, have intervened for this poor child did nothing. Perhaps I should be surprised but having seen how some of these families live, maybe I am not especially where misuse of alcohol and drugs exists. Some people should never be allowed to have children, or even a dog!!!!
(Getting to sound like Trump now but it does annoy me when I see how some children are treated by their parents!!! What awful lives some of them lead ).

Surely one of, if not the, worst crimes possible; being cruel to defenceless children.

Don't fancy their chances in jail. And they deserve all they get, and more.

I suppose it won't be long before some government minister comes out with the old chestnut.... "lessons must be learnt" ....a phrase that rolls easily off the tonge when the government know it is their cut backs that have made it almost imposible for social services to function in a way that helps protect vulnerable children......Underfunded, overstretched demoralised staff are an all to common result of this governments social and health care 'supposed' reforms.

In the case of poor Aleeshia one can only speculate as to why she was put back with her bitch of a mother but what l do know is that these types of people are very clever at disguising the truth about what goes on behind their closed doors.... l shall reserve judgment on who else were to blame until the facts are known.

The Bit*h got life serving a minimum of 24 years.....In sentencing terms this may seem a good result but l would have preferred a life for a life in her case.
