I'm in love with a.......

..Kettle

Recently purchased a Russell Hobbs glass line jug kettle and l love it.

Now l know you are thinking how can anyone fall in love with a kettle, which l have to admit is a little peculiar but l don't care as it has everything l have ever wanted in a kettle.....its got Bubbles!!!!!
Not only can you see the bubbles, the bubbles turn to the most beautiful florescent blue while putting on the most exquisite dancing display. If there is a down side with this product it would be that you can see the formation of lime scale forming after a few week but this isn't such a problem that a sachet of lime scale remover won't shift.....best £60 l have ever spent.

Do you have an appliance that you absolutely love?

Wash you mouth out. Stephen may be a reprobate but I'm just back from retreat with the Brothers so I'm pure as the driven snow (before the dog wee'd in it).

Well mine's our dishwasher. Just hate washing up.

But I'd love to hear more about the GTech Gill. Our Dyson is about 100 years old and we're wavering between the Gtech and a cordless Dyson as a replacement.

Agree. Had Dysons ever since they came out, but the latest upright one is rubbish - flimsy, difficult to manoeuvre, dust container too small (and now has a crack in it), flex too short. Suction's jolly good, though - every time you use it, it removes vast amount of carpet pile. Only a matter of time before they're bald.

B. awful thing.

Oh dear just bought a Dyson ball hoover! You need plenty of muscle to use it. Very manoeuvrable though. My favourite thing is my dishwasher, wish I'd had one years ago when the kids were little....

Don't listen to Merv - last time he cleaned the carpet it was with a Bex-Bissell push-along !

Ahh, I had forgotten my love for our Miele dishwasher and the cutlery tray. It's the third one we've had - only because they were built-in and we've moved twice in the past six years - and is wonderful. The cutlery tray washes the cutlery far better than when we had dishwashers with baskets. That is REALLY wonderful and true love.

I can’t imagine being in love with any household appliance however what I would love is a man who knows how to boil kettle, knows where the vacuum cleaner lives and what it’s used for, how the washing machine/dishwasher switches on oh and if he knew how to plug an iron in that would be handy .. only joking, well at least about the kettle  :lolno: :lolno:

DQ - be happy with what you have - I relented and bought OH a cordless Dyson as he hates my upright one. Everyday - maybe even 3 or 4 times - he gets this bloody thing out and vacuums round and for some reason the noise of it really irritates me!

Nor me.

When I broke my ankle, husband had to be taught how to use every single damn appliance in the house.

It's a bit much asking us males to operate indoor machinery Annie

Didn't they give you any crutches to get about on ;)
