Hi, Frank. Hope you are both keeping well.

We haven't been to the Holmwood quite so much recently as there have been major road works at Northwood for goodness knows how long and you know how long it takes to do anything on the Island.

Will look out for you - just don't pinch our favourite table by the window. Maureen

For many years, I've had a dream where I'm in a field and there's a matrix of wooden poles sticking out of the ground, and a large pile of wood next them, and I've got to build a house on top of these poles.

A few weeks ago, one of the missionaries associated with this charity sent me a photograph of a couple of widows in PNG who he is trying to help by building a house for them. The picture showed that field and the matrix of poles....

Hi Mr Shiney. ...l do wonder sometimes if our dreams are portals to the future but l tend to think they are more about wishful thinking of what we would like to happen rather than what will happen.

However in your case it really dose sound like dreams can come true

Regards

Keith

Possibly, Keith - I just hope I'm not being called to go out to PNG to help build the thing!

I know, it's a bit of a worry - I couldn't remember my own telephone number this morning !!
I had to sort out an online ISA via a phone call the other day (don't ask - long long story). Anyway the lady asked me a ridiculous number of security qus- all of which I answered correctly - so we got on to the nitty gritty of actually buying the thing.
Lady on phone: Full name?
Me: Margaret, middle name, first syllable of maiden name - hell, no, I've only been married 40½ years .... correct surname.

Luckily, it didn't cause any problems and the transaction was allowed to continue

Thought so....

Previous Floods in Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea is vulnerable to both inland and coastal flooding. The country suffered from severe coastal flooding in 2008. as many as 75,000 people were though to have been displaced from 8 different provinces. Earlier this year around 10,000 people were affected byflooding in New West Britain province.

I haven't had many dreams about flooding in PNG. Does that make me odd ?
