The trouble is, Stephen, you don't get all the jobs done around the house because you end up watching this all the time.

Th camera just followed a KLM 747 in. The good thing was the camera picked it up out at see and tracked it all the way in to touch down, down the runway, turning around and taxiing back up and to its parking ramp, zooming right in. Brilliant.

Yes, the camera normally doesn't deviate from the beach, but sometimes you will see it pan the harbour or the airport, or if your really lucky as I was, follow a big bird all the way in.

The camera is set up at the beach bar, so someone must be able to control it manually. They must know when the flights are coming in, especially the 747's, and/or listen to air traffic control and then manually operate it.

If you click on the arrivals tab near the top left you can get a list of what flights are scheduled in, it's just a matter of watching and being patient. Don't forget to click on the ATC button and the MIC button to the right so you can listen to the tower and other aircraft communicating as well as outside noise.

It's very addictive.

Keith, we usually find that once the lunch time rush at the beach bar is over, someone controls the webcam. The only annoyance is that you will be watching a large plane take off and he flashes back to the beach view to see if the back draft from the rear engine is blowing into the people stood by the fence as you often see them running down to the water to retrieve their sun hats etc. As Stephen said, the operator seems to know when the big planes are coming in.

What with watching your Russell Hobbs kettle, being on this forum and also watching the Maho webcam, I am surprised you have time to cook a dinner.

Obviously a man of many talents.

Hi Maureen.....as Stephen has already alluded to.... cooking dinner doesn't require a lot of preparation when it comes straight out of a tin

With regard to being talented it's all about pacing yourself...basically l just wait untill my wife has left for work then l get on with the things that are important in life.

Please don't tell my wife l've said that..squeak! squeak!

Regards

Keith

Managed to get it!!!................. on my iPad. Apparently some setting or another in my Avast security software blocks it out. I can't find what it is and am reluctant to switch it off so have tried it on my iPad instead and SUCCESS!!!
Not many on the beach today and all looks a bit overcast.

It is only 7.40 in the morning Foxy. There are still a few people already on the beach, two of them in the sea. Lucky devils.
