John Aldridge's comment says it all for me.

"Do you know what? A lot of cities would have crumbled in the face of that hostility, that ignorance, that opposition. Not Liverpool.

The way the families have conducted themselves throughout, with such dignity, such class, such passion for what was right – no praise is too high for those people.

I’m proud to be a Scouser. I know how we are, we fight for what’s right and what we believe in. We always have. We were never going to let this go"

“They picked on the wrong people.

Here Here !

I was saying just last night that we have been bought up to believe that police corruption was something that happened in other countries.

This is a sad day because we believed their lies.

I didn't believe what was being said about the Liverpool crowd. I went to see Arsenal play Luton back in the 1950's when I seem to remember Luton had over 30,000 in Kenilworth road. As a young teen I was terrified by the crush at the turnstiles, and even worse in the tunnel under the stands. Happily measures have been put in place to control things better these days, but the terror for those Liverpool fans must have been very real. It doesn't bear thinking about.

Don't think that an Unlawful Killing verdict will automatically result in prosecutions. Our son was unlawfully killed, but no proceedings ever ensued.
