Why not offer them bits of Mars bars instead? Attached to a mousetrap or two of course. :o

I would but the allotments are in a rural location about a mile from home and if I let them loose there it would take me a week to catch them again !!

Tie them to the fence with just enough length to cover the allotment. ;)

Watched some of BBC Breakfast this morning from Liverpool - what a moving programme - feel so desperately sad for those families who lost someone. The stories of their loved ones at the end made me cry.

Now, you know and I know that you won't.

Your more likely to catch them and feed them carrots and lettuce on a silver platter.

I have plans to release them into an allotment of someone I don't like ! Got to catch the little sods first. The bloke on the next door plot has had traps out for years and hasn't caught a thing !

We had plans for our moles and the local bowls club... :D

Twice a year we hear the local farmer out with his gun. For a while all is quiet and (dim pair that we are) we go out and buy plants. The second we plant them, the little b*****s reappear. I know you can do rabbit-proof planting, but the limited selection wears a little thin. The new, now very threadbare, roses are surrounded by extremely fetching wire netting; plan b: landmines.

I think we have pretty much "rabbit-proofed" the allotment but we have fenced one of the little sods in and he is enjoying his own, personal enclosed run with ample supply of food !
