ps ... M5, 6 and 7 are suggesting that our national security could be at greater risk if we exit, for those who live in large villages like Huddersfield and Leek it won't matter but it could in the major cities, potentially.
If you are unable to appreciate the finer points of the magnificent game of cricket there really is no nope for you Moby, and I suppose you might as well vote to join the United States of Europe. 8-)
No hope ( nor nope ) at all .... can't stand the game  and I don't drink tea either.

Are you sure you are English and not some johnie foreigner???
Not sure at all, you are doubtless of Roman extract and Foxy would be a Viking ... there's no such thing as ' English ' although some say the Southern Irish are as close as it is possible to get.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Apparently on the BBC News last night it appears that due to the influx of Afghans etc into Germany they have started cricket teams and the hermans have started to play...watch this space.

The PM has lost the plot, after his war and genocide warnings if we leave the EU what next, will he be forecasting biblical proportion plagues and pestilences; whatever the outcome of the referendum he needs to be replaced by someone with a brain.
If the UK's continued membership of the EU is so vital to it's long term well being, then why the H**l do the other member states not treat us with a bit more respect.
We really must vote to leave this useless behemoth before its too late, we owe it our children and all future generations to get out while we have this last opportunity.

So the EU has protected everyone against war in Europe then. So remind me again, what was it that happened in Yugoslavia? And actually in the 21st century isn't the biggest risk what is happening in the middle east? And terrorism. Of course we've had none of that since we joined.

What a load of cobblers. It's like telling your children if they pull a face they'll get stuck like that.

p.s. Anyone see that locust fall from the sky? Oh and frogs too? And oh my is that a boil?

And if it's so vital that without it we get war and genocide, why on earth did he offer a referendum? Ah, I remember: terrified of the UKIP vote at the last election, so short-term political gain came before the good of the country. Or it did if you believe a word of the scaremongering.

Yugoslavia wasn't in the EU. It is now and there have been no wars there since.

No wars since because the country split up. Nothing to do with the EU. And it might not have been in the EU, but it was in Europe.

And your analysis of how the EU protects us against the greater threat of terrorism? Or weren't we in the EU on 7/7?

QBob, Only a small part of Yugoslavia has so far been granted accession to the EU, namely Slovenia and Croatia, the major contries including Serbia and Bosnia are not yet members.
Obviously as a Bremain supporter accurate facts are not really important to you. :sarcasm:

So if I get this right Towny, if we remain in the EU we are protected from war with Slovenia and Croatia?

I am so reassured by that. Thanks Call-me-Dave.

But we might still have a war with Serbia and Bosnia because they're not in the EU?

I'm worried that if we vote to leave, we could be invaded by Liechtenstein

I only mentioned Yugoslavia but the Balkans are not really relevant. Evryone knows that the real purpose of the EU is to stop France and Germany ever going to war again.

So far so good :)

Tell that to Dave. He mentioned them in his speech! And as for France and Germany, if we leave they'll still be in. So that's okay.

Stay = leap into the unknown

Leave = leap in to the unknown

The only absolute truth is nobody knows.

Must admit I was a bit shocked to find out I'd be £4,500 a year worse off should we leave !!
As I work for myself, I will give myself an immediate pay rise to compensate!

I saw Gove on the Marr show and he played a blinder in my opinion.
They should put him to the front of the campaign.

Barney: Must admit I was a bit shocked to find out I'd be £4,500 a year worse off should we leave !!
You must have missed the Newsnight program a few weeks ago when a member of the audience, a financial advisor, said to Paddy Ashdown, who had just quoted that same figure. "I have used the same figures the Treasury have used, applied the same formulae and by my calculations if we come out of the eu in 10 years we can pay off the whole of the National Debt", which is about £1.5 Trillion.

Paddy, did not reply. I know what I would prefer.

Peter

That statement is clearly hogwash. There is no way that we would save £150bn a year. I would steer well clear of this self-appointed financial advisor.

Hi Peter...just in case anyone wishes to watch a replay of the economists/financial Advisor playing his trump card then l think the program you were referring to was in fact 'Question Time'

We are the ones who will stop this gravey train, we are the ones who will make them think again 'Cause who do you think you are kidding Mr Cameron if you think you can sell old England out?
