That's abuse of another member. Never a modpod around when you need them!!!

I wonder if he'll be there on Saturday? Pity we couldn't have done it in '63. So close yet so far away which explains why none of us could settle until it was mathematically sealed.

After Tottingham's antics I hope the Gooners catch them up to clinch second place. Their antics at Chelsea were a disgrace which is a pity because they are a good, footballing side but no excuses for what happened in that second half. How they managed to finish with 11 men on the pitch is beyond me. I see charges have been raised against Dembele (and quite rightly so) but no action against Lamela. The sneaky little so-and-so should have been sent packing to the dressing room. Good luck RB................ and thanks.

Tickets for the match are as rare as rocking horse droppings - one of the drawbacks of living away from home but hopefully TV coverage will be good - and then there's always Match of the Day.
It's all gone crazy down there with queues stretching around the stadium today to get their hands on the new football strip. Where were all these people when we were playing Rochdale and Barnsley? When we get loads of Japanese and American supporters sat in full kit who haven't a clue who any of the players are I'll know we have finally arrived.

Have a wonderful day !

Just don't buy any of the half-and-half scarves.

Who buys half and half scarves which are only relevant for the one day? I can't see the point. Maybe if we gave Barcelona a good drubbing down at the King Power I might want a souvenir of the occasion but I just don't see the point at all.
Away from ym team there are some good matches today elsewhere in the leagues as promotion, relegation and playoff positions are decided. Plenty of emotion going on. Have a good afternoon everyone.

Shocked at that Moby unless he's moving on to a bigger club

You never know what goes on behind the scenes

Is he out of contract ?

If so, he's been tapped up.

I'm home alone again, with Mrs Barney needed in Exeter again, so it's wall to wall playoffs for me, this weekend

I guess he was pushed judging by the team's performance over the past few months.

Talking of which.......... which club was touting the Southampton manager today? The merrygoround will shortly be in full swing. One of the downsides of success is the attention of the big boys looking to add to their already bloated portfolios of players, some of whom you may never see playing again.
Mind you I wouldn't mind keeping the bench warm for two or three years on £50k+ per year. That's even more than Mob and I get paid as modplods!!!!

Latest reports suggest that Flores himself decided to leave the Club because the owners had a different view to his own regarding this season's overall performance, that being the case he couldn't accept a contract renewal for next season. The owners were however very grateful that he achieved Prem status for another year.

Well that's it for another season (missing it already)................ Just the Euros to look forward to so it won't be so bad.

Can't believe how Spurs crumbled in the end, dropping points to Chelsea from being 2-0 up and then getting a right trouncing to an already relegated club playing with 10 men. Had I known they would fall apart like that I needn't have worried!!!
Well done you Gooners. It will be particularly sweet getting one over on your London neighbours. And you can always say you took six points off the Champions. We only lost three games all season and two were to you!!!!

Congratulations to Leicester (I was away when they eventually won the title). Foxy must have been so pleased, as are most "neutrals".

"Can't believe how Spurs crumbled in the end"

That was nothing Foxy

Gills crumble was catastrophic.

3 points from the final 21

Barely believable

We lost 5 games at home all season but unfortunately the last 4.
And, to make it worse, we didn't actually play that bad. Just didn't get the rub of the green.

Still, season ticket purchased for next season and bring it on.

Hopefully Millwall (yes it did kick off last game) will stay down, we'll have our train spotting chums from Charlton, our six fingered cousins from Swindon and with a bit of luck, good old Wimbledon & MK Dongs in the same division for the first time.
So plenty to look forward to.

And The Saints go straight into the group stages of the Europa League instead of two knockout rounds :)

Cracking goal from Lingard to win the Cup. It seems ironic that LVG's reward for winning the Cup is the managerial boot although I feel sure the blow will be cushioned by a nice fat compensation package.
I wonder how the match would have panned out had Clattenburg played the advantage rule in the first half. We will never know but I can understand Pardew being upset.
I see Fellaini got booked again for use of his elbows and Huth was nowhere near him!!!
Overall a good game to watch and congratulations to United........................ and of course Southampton.

Thanks

Clattenburg has taken a lot of stick over that first decision but it was a long way from goal and maybe he felt that he needed to impose some control on the game.

I rather like the stance taken in rugby whereby the advantage rule is played but if no advantage is gained play is brought back.

Me too Foxy.

Well done to Halifax, who won the FA Trophy yesterday. Plenty from the town went to Wembley yesterday, and the win may slightly soften the blow of their relegation from The National League.
