New House Build
I dont usually believe all the stories written in the papers, but this story was on T.V as well, a woman with 11ids gets a free six-bed house and its us the tax payers who will be footing the bill!!! Then she goes on to say that she would demand a bigger home if it doesnt come upto scratch.
There must be thousands of people who have been in full time employment since they were in their teens and have a family but cant afford a deposit on a house, let alone the mortgage, that would love a new built home.
What is wrong with the system in this country, she already apparently had 2 council houses next door to each other, but wasnt satisfied with that.
Sorry it just makes me so cross when I see things like this. My son was made redundent, he has a lovely wife and 3 beutiful children 9well he only had 2 at the time), but was given nnothing from the benefit people. luckily he is full time employment now. What do other people think of this.

Annoying, isn't it. Can't we sell a few kids for medical research?

I liked the bit when she said that she loved her kids ... obviously not enough to provide for them.

Hi Ken,
Maybe when the woman said that she loved her kids - maybe she 'loved' them because she could live better on benefits by virtue of having had them?
Sorry - but has this dimwit woman never heard of contraception and responsible parenting?
Apologies.
Em

Shameful. This is happening in my County, Gloucestershire. I am horrified. She has ll children and two grandchildren. All living in her house. She is 36. Presumably none of them work, and never will. Jay.

Re: New House Build
I heard this on the radio earlier, disgusting ... she chose to have 11 children why do we ( the tax payer ) have to subsidise that, apparently this "new build" will cost between 350k - 400k and if she doesn't think it is suitable they will have to build her something else

Re: New House Build
The sooner they crack down on the benefits system the better and restricting child benefit to the first two, would be a bloody good place to start, followed by slashing the benefits for housing to £200 per week

Hi Karenandbob
I don’t know all the circumstances to this story but my initial thoughts are very much in line with yours.
We in this country need to introduce draconian laws which make irresponsible breeding a crime against society.
Until we send out a clear message that breeding just because you want a big family/ because you love children or because you know the state will look after the little blighters the more irresponsible parents will abuse our benefits system.
If I had my way “all” child benefit would be phased out completely.
Regards
OL

If you can't afford to look after your children yourself then you shouldn't have had them in the first place.
Sorry, that is my opinion. Children are the responsibility of the parents, not the tax payers.

Re: New House Build
Hmm, agreed ... but just to square the circle on this Topic.
Should the children be placed in a Care Home at greater cost or should the family be split up and be placed in two or even three houses at greater cost or should we line them up and shoot them ?
There is no simple answer and the same thing happens in most, if not all, Countries.

Re: New House Build
Apparently MOB this family are already living in two semi's which has a door knocked through so making it detached in a sense, they already have 6 bedrooms the new build will be 6 bedrooms, probably not their ideal family home but it's a hell of a lot more than some have

Re: New House Build
Perhaps some woolly haired liberal has caused ' poverty ' legislation to be passed that requires Councils to provide a certain number of ' facilities ' per person in their rented housing and that in this case the two semis cannot provide it nor be extended to do so at a reasonable cost ?
The answer now appears to be to shoot the woolly haired liberal

Re: New House Build
The answer would be to tell the "parents" to take some form of contaception and that benefits are only being paid for the first 2 kids and after that you are on your own, so get of your lazy a*se and go and get a job ,as the country is sick and tired of paying for benefit sloths who contribute nothing to society
and if you have the nerve to complain about what you are given for free ,you will be evicted and placed in a hostel on the Isle of Mull and made to work the land untill you have paid back the money you have effectively stolen from the country by being a baby machine instead of contributing to society in a meaningful way
and your children better start work sharpish or they will be evicted as well
and please don't lecture me as I don't care

This mother should be hung, drawn and quartered...Shot by firing squad at dawn...Burnt at the stake and if she survives all that, given a season ticket for Huddersfield Town.
Okay perhaps the last one is a bit excessive...
Where is the father or fathers?....
I hope the children are very happy in their new home.

To everyone saying she should be shot ... I trust you are proposing by bow and arrow - bullets are expensive and cannot be re-used.
I'm very sorry to hear that she's had cervical cancer but at least she won't be popping any more sprogs for you and me to pay for.

Re: New House Build
This looks like a good advert for compulsory sterilisation and, if true, she also two grandchildren living there would also apply to her daughters (preferably at birth!)
