Focus Towny, and it is a 15 plate. Well spotted. But with 7000 on the clock and £8000 below the new price I'm not complainingtowny44 wrote:That could quite easily be a Mondeo, and with a 15 number plate not even the latest model.Mervyn and Trish wrote:They told me it was an Aston. It has the grill

Well done Merv, I am told they handle remarkably well, but the sophisticated rear suspension means the boot won't take a set of golf clubs.Mervyn and Trish wrote:Focus Towny, and it is a 15 plate. Does drive nicely John, but it had to after the Jaguar or it wouldn't have got a look in! It's an estate and I don't play golf so no problems there!towny44 wrote:Well done Merv, I am told they handle remarkably well, but the sophisticated rear suspension means the boot won't take a set of golf clubs.Mervyn and Trish wrote:Focus Towny, and it is a 15 plate. You won't regret it Merv, once you can anchor your left foot to the floor and stop reaching for the gear shift with your left hand,
until then it could be a bit jerky.

I spent my winter fuel allowance on mine and banked what I saved on bus fares with my pass. Soon mounts up.

Re: The Children's Off Topic Thread
Who else had a little drop of rain last night. I say little, it absolutely persistently fell down with the accompaniment of thunder and lightning. It was a good test for our new ground drainage though which worked a treat. No more part flooding

Just a nice gentle rain here in Middle England - just enough to water in the 300-odd plants I put out at the weekend!
Found another possible bunny route through the fencing so blocked that up. Mind you, if they get in there's plenty for them to eat now !

After a day's respite, they are back and at it - completely devastated about 80 flowering plants I put out on Saturday. Chomped to the ground
