Most days, someone or other will overtake at the most ridiculous and dangerous places to move up a slow-moving queue by no more than 20 or 30 yards and ultimately end up in the same place in the queue as they started once people turn off !

Several years ago there was very heavy snow in Lincolnshire and a long queue of traffic down a country road. Some bright spark decided that he was exempt queuing, pulled out and shot off, losing control and side-swiping several cars before coming to a halt in the middle of the group of policemen who were controlling the traffic....

Justice - I often think I'd love to see something like that happen to them - so long as no one else gets hurt, of course

Justice - like on Eastenders in the early years when Pete Beale was beating seven shades out of Nick Cotton and a watching copper looked down at Cotton and said "you've had a nasty fall, son"....

It was my favourite moment from the soap, in the days when I used to watch it.

To get slightly back on-topic, I was walking down a dual carriageway a couple of years back and there was a woman driver pootling along the outer lane, overtaking fresh air at around 30mph, with a cop car with sirens and blue lights speeding up behind her. Would she move? No.

Talking of dual carriageways - I witnessed a man relieving himself on the side of one last week - there was no obvious vehicle. He had probably stopped the other side of the verge and ran into the bushes not realising it was a dual carriageway - everyone was beeping him!!!!
