There's the difference - Minstrel looks on the ball but he's only interested in his toys. He'll murder a stuffed mouse in no time though !

I'll give you that one. He's a beauty.

I will be driving through your region on Saturday en route to Southampton and two weeks of banter free modern luxury. I will try to leave a trail of Eau de Ferret as we pass, which might frighten the bunnies away from your allotment.

Excellent - not that far from the M40 so a quick waft between J11 and J10 will do nicely, thanks

Better hope for a southerly breeze as we don't join it until J10.

Yes Merv, this is our 5 star Celebrity cruise and we are heading for the Baltic sea, been before but X cruises from Southamton are not as varied as P&O, so its as well that we really enjoy the Eclipse.

I wouldn't knock repeating an itinerary. There's always something new to see and we too just enjoy being at sea and relaxing and meeting people

I see we still have the "Turin Shroud" icon on the bookmark bar - although, upon reflection, that could be a lop-eared bunny !
Is that what it is?

noticed it had changed the other day and keep forgetting to ask

None of the ModPlods have come clean and admitted what it is Meg. It's certainly more like the Turin Shroud than anything else I can think of !

Do you have anyone nearby with ferrets which could go down the burrows and deal with the rabbits?

Don't even know where the burrows are - they tend to live above ground and shelter in the overgrown parts of the allotment site.

Maybe the ferrets do it by smell and work as efficiently above ground? I don't know - it might be worth speaking to a ferret-man (my mum's neighbour does this, so he could advise)

and when they have dealt with the rabbits, please can they come and sort out the foxes that have now stopped climbing our walls into the garden and are burrowing under instead. Fast as we block one hole, they dig another

Looks like the big, bad bug myxomatosis is doing what we were totally incapable of! Not a nice way to go and I would rather battle the rabbits myself and risk the loss of the odd cabbage.
