I've tried, but he's very protective of his ferrets. I think they might have a bunny-phobia !

I will be driving through your region on Saturday en route to Southampton and two weeks of banter free modern luxury. I will try to leave a trail of Eau de Ferret as we pass, which might frighten the bunnies away from your allotment.

Yes Merv, this is our 5 star Celebrity cruise and we are heading for the Baltic sea, been before but X cruises from Southamton are not as varied as P&O, so its as well that we really enjoy the Eclipse.

Do you have anyone nearby with ferrets which could go down the burrows and deal with the rabbits?

Don't even know where the burrows are - they tend to live above ground and shelter in the overgrown parts of the allotment site.

Maybe the ferrets do it by smell and work as efficiently above ground? I don't know - it might be worth speaking to a ferret-man (my mum's neighbour does this, so he could advise)

and when they have dealt with the rabbits, please can they come and sort out the foxes that have now stopped climbing our walls into the garden and are burrowing under instead. Fast as we block one hole, they dig another

Looks like the big, bad bug myxomatosis is doing what we were totally incapable of! Not a nice way to go and I would rather battle the rabbits myself and risk the loss of the odd cabbage.
