Call me Dave hasn't answered a single straight question and has no reply to immigration, what the changes he won are and how we will fare in or out
The interesting points are 80% of the U.K. is service industries and we are selling less to India than we are to Luxembourg
Just shows how intwined and dependent we are on the Eu desite the concessions call me Dave has won

Not impressed by Cameron at all although, like a good politician, I must admit he did a good job in dancing around the awkward questions, but he remained unconvincing even when questioned on aspects of the economy. His half truths were worrying.
If the claims of the Leave campaign were so weak he should have had a field day. He didn't.

Some of the propaganda out there is ludicrous beyond belief. Did you know that Trump, Putin and the Leader of Isis are voting Leave?!!! And since when were Trump and the Leader of Isis world leaders?

Whilst I support the Leave campaign and have already voted I do think that Farage's poster and his subsequent comments will have done Brexit far more harm than good

I saw CMD on Question Time and thought some of it disgraceful and untruthful. He tried to maintain that the emergency brake on EU immigration would "last until 2028" whereas I understand that it is tapered to reduce well before that.

Not surprised by the main headline in today's Financial Times
"Cameron invokes murdered M.P. in neck and neck Brexit race"

Sinking to new depths I fear, probably in desperation.

Gave the same answer to every question, no matter what the topic and continually repeated the same guesses and opinions as fact.

Less impressed with JC though he did admit that it was impossible to control immigration from the EU

Every time immigration is mentioned Remain start screaming racist and xenophobe. Another favourite line is that leaving the EU won't stop refugees trying to come here. No it won't and I don't honestly think most Brexiteers expect it to. The issue is not refugees, it's economic spongers from within the EU and Brexit will give us the power to stop them. The only issue on refugees in the EU is that if other countries played the game they would be made to claim asylum in the first safe country they land in because that is EU law - but it doesn't happen. Another indication if ever we need one that the EU is dysfunctional.

Uncontrolled immigration has always been the issue for many people and the main parties have refused to address or even acknowledge it, going right back to Gordon Brown's unguarded "Bigot" comment. That is why UKIP gained ground in the first place and why CMD was forced to offer this referendum, which I imagine he now heartily regrets.

Had the main parties taken public concerns seriously they could have probably found a workable solution long ago. If damage is done to the UK economy by Brexit it is only people like CMD who are to blame for not showing more leadership and understanding earlier.

Looks like the referendum campaigners are using Jo Cox's death as a sympathy tool in their propaganda but has anyone heard a mention about the 77 year old hero who had a go and was left fighting for his life with a stab wound ?.

If we leave the EU we will no longer need a Professor of EU law studies so his job would probably be on the line. Read into it as you may but a lot of the laws throughout the world are based on or at least compatible with the British law system that was in place hundreds of years before the EU was formed.

Corbyn spoke yesterday and Cameron the day before that we cannot change the EU from outside.
However Mervyn highlights the issue with these statements. There has been considerable unease with the EU for a long time but politicians like Blair, Brown and Cameron have failed to address them. Indeed they have been swept under the carpet by successive governments who have got into power on the promise of a referendum, promises which were broken by the Labour party and had to be honoured by the Tories under pressure from UKIP.
Had those issues been addressed I believe we would have been looking at a confident Remain vote, but they weren't and they won't if Britain votes to remain with EU.

I'm told that the situation of Scotland voting for independence then applying for EU membership won't happen because the Spanish would veto it, as a successful application would create a precedent for the Catalan/ Basque region who are seeking independence

Fine - we'll know which ferries are coming and will just turn them back. Australia turns back all migrant vessels and no longer has a problem, so why can't we start doing the same.

I think even CMD is expecting to lose the referendum tomorrow.

On BBC Breakfast this morning, when asked what would happen to him after the vote, he waffled on about how he would accept the verdict of the people. I would have thought a man confident of winning would simply have said something along the lines of "losing is not an option, and we are going to win"!!

I still think he's toast either way, and the verdict of the people will be "get your coat".

The only thing that could save his skin is a decisive win for Remain (by which I mean at least 60%) and that's unlikely if the polls are even close to correct.
