Beginning to worry a little, Mr Farage has said that it was untrue that the NHS would benefit greatly from the redistribution of EU funds, and listening carefully to Bojo and Mr Gove it would appear that taking back control of our borders was unlikely to have a large impact on immigration numbers merely we would find them coming from different countries. Really confused, can anyone help me please. Oh and does take back control fit with getting a PM we have not elected ( I know he was elected to Parliament but you know what I mean) Perhaps for the sake of this new democracy we should have a general election once the Conservatives have appointed a new leader

That's a rather sweeping statement. My mother, brothers, sisters-in-law, husband and I are all graduates. Most of our friends likewise. We all voted out.

And you don't have to be young to get educated, my wife got her university degree at the age of 40 whilst keeping a full time job and we had to fund her uni fees ourselves, no student grants.
She voted out.

Don't believe everything you read in the left wing press, Ray.
Election of the PM has a precedence when Blair passed on the reins to Brown. Afterwards there was no general election.

Neither I nor anyone else knows yet the answers to your questions, as I presume you well know.

The country however has two years in which to address these issues and I have sufficient confidence in my country to believe that these and other issues will be resolved. You of course, since you appear to be pessimistic, are free to spend the next two years thinking up worst case scenarios and then worrying how to solve them. I prefer to be optimistic and to rejoice in the fact that we will have thrown off the shackles of unelected law makers and return to being a free and independent country in charge of it's own affairs.

We live in a democracy, thank goodness, and the country made a democratic decision by an indisputable majority to leave the EU. Those who believe in democracy should accept that decision and do what they can to support it and make it work. That's another issue I have with David Cameron who all through insisted that he would remain as P.M. win or lose. Instead he chose to announce his departure within hours of the result and thereby abandoned his expressed intention to ensure stability.

It's very short term but at the moment I see no evidence of that. Instead we have approaching 2 million Remainers petitioning the government to back date a change in the rules and have another referendum because they didn't like the result of the first or others making the ridiculous contention that London should declare UDI.

If of course they do not wish to live in a democracy and respect the democratic process I can think of quite a number of other countries that they could choose.

Maybe their idea of democracy is to raise petitions, protest and generally whinge until they get the result they want. Sometimes I despair.

of course we do hold a good trump card, we can always threaten to stay in and create mayhem from within if they try to screw us!

For those not on Facebook. Since the Remain Campaign raised the Petition to annul the referendum these are some of the Petitions now doing the rounds.

1: Rerun of Saturdays Lottery results. For all those that lost.
2: Rerun of the Battle of Hastings. Just in case Harold can win next time around.
3: Rerun of the Euro 2016 qualifying Rounds because Scotland are not there.
4: Rerun of the England v Iceland game, just in case England lose.

These are not spoof Petitions they have actually been set up for people to join. The problem is the Petition organisers have to check that Parliament can actually debate these. Pity really, I would put my name down for the Lottery one.
