All joking apart I have heard from my Welsh friends that she is well thought of but comes across on TV as very weak and lame, and can't do a great deal unless her friend Mrs Krankie tells her. Sorry about the picture but whenever I see her I cannot help thinking of Wendolene with those big blue eyes.

I think there will be plenty of politics to talk about in the next couple of years so lots to get your teeth into. Good luck!!

I hope Corbyn does stay as this will open up the opportunity for the emergence of new 'desperately needed' political parties . With the expected defectors from the labour party the dissalousuoned from the conservative party and a sprinkling from other fringe parties.

Hi Mr Shiney.....had the lib-dems stuck to their principles as an alternative party to the big two they probably would be in power by now. They threw it all away by jumping into bed with the conservative party and in doings so alienated many of their party members but more importantly lost the trust of those who voted for them.

I would love to see the emergence of a new centralist party, one that is formed from a coalition of cross party members... What is clear is that we do not have a credible opposition party which leaves the electorate with no viable alternative other than what we have now.

I agree, Keith, but even if that were to happen, too many policies have been passed that cannot be rescinded without serious rioting and (probably) blood on the streets.
