Swansea air show
The Swansea air show has been on all weekend. No need for us to go down to the seafront to watch as on both days as the red arrows have screamed right over our house on the way out over the bay. So low and really noisy.
But great formations.
What a lovely job to have.

We went and watched at Oystermouth yesterday, Joe's in hand! But today many of the aircraft have flown over the garden - same as last year.
The Red Arrows were truly amazing. Swansea Bay is perfect for such a display.

The most spectacular thing I've seen at an air show was at Waddington many years ago when four Vulcans were airborne within 70 seconds of the of "scramble" signal being given. Awesome!

I assume all the aircraft were in the air, and there were no static displays? There's nothing like getting up close to a parked warbird. Awesome as the spectacle is, you don't really get a sense of the scale of the thing when it's flying about you.
