How's your rabbit? At present one of mine is lying on the lawn sunbathing, stuffed to the gills. Grrrr.

Had a very expensive hair cut last Friday, someone slightly dented and scratched a rear wheel arch while I was parked, I am still searching for a note giving me the other drivers details, but no luck so far.

If you had enquired yesterday, I would have said the problem was largely under control but this morning, I found they have had a serious overnight feast on my brussels. I think there is a new young family out and about and the little ones can squeeze through the smallest gaps in the protective fencing. I'm not happy !

Could have been worse. Someone could have left a note to the effect that "someone is watching me so they think I am writing this note to leave my name and address"towny44 wrote:Had a very expensive hair cut last Friday, someone slightly dented and scratched a rear wheel arch while I was parked, I am still searching for a note giving me the other drivers details, but no luck so far.

On our recent cruise of Aurora we found the following notice in our cabin on arrival.
"As many of you will be aware, unfortunately we have recently experienced numerous toilet blockages around the ship. Our plumbers have found that these blockages have been caused by a few of your fellow passengers flushing sanitary wipes down their toilet".
Well I think we all know who they mean, don't we Cubie?

I'm not convinced he's got a job. I think he sits in the local library all day hooked up to their power supply and free wifi with a book in front of him to make out he's studyingRB1961 wrote:Just clicked onto "active topics" and cubie had a run of 16 straight last replies. I am a bit thicker skinned than that Cubie, and clearly if Moby does not know how to use 'saynoto0870' to get geo phone numbers, then it does not surprise me that he had difficulty with Celebrity's website.qbman1 wrote:Oooh, I do hope FK doesn't see that - he'll have apoplexyManoverboard wrote:Don't do it ... But at least he was able to get into their website to try and enter data, my attempt to set up the CP still has the little wheel running round after 48 hours.

Re: The Children's Off Topic Thread
Well I eventually got into the to do list but P&O customer service could not really help, the CS assistant could access it at his end using both Chrome and IE, but my laptop still said no to both and also to MS Edge, however my request for a ring back did work, please note Moby.towny44 wrote:I am a bit thicker skinned than that Cubie, and clearly if Moby does not know how to use 'saynoto0870' to get geo phone numbers, then it does not surprise me that he had difficulty with Celebrity's website.qbman1 wrote:Oooh, I do hope FK doesn't see that - he'll have apoplexyManoverboard wrote:Don't do it ... So in desperation after I had finished with P&O I tried Firefox, and wonder of wonders it worked, now maybe some of you tech savvy guys can explain this, but even adding the P&O website to Edge compatibility did not work, and doing the same on IE MS told me I was attempting an invalid action, or something similar.
Why on Earth have the computer industry made life so complex.

He was okay with us. Not that a Captain up the Fjords gets to go out much. They are on the bridge while the ship is in the tight spaces of the actual Fjords, mostly at night, so they spend a lot of time kipping in the day. It's mostly the sea days when they get to come out in daylight among the great unwashed.
