I think we should scrap democracy for the masses and just let this forum decide. We got it right on the brexit result and the tory leader. What should we poll on next?

Out of interest where do outed PM's move to when the leave No 10. Do they have their own property already set up or do they get given a country pile?
I think CMD has 7 or 8 to choose from !!

Is that 7 or 8 properties or are 7 and 8 Downing Street currently vacant?

But here's another question. CMD (in common with Bliar I believe) actually lived in the flat over No.11.

Should TM decide she actually wants to live over No 10, as is her right, does George have to move across the landing too?

I'd tell George to clear off asap. Wouldn't want him as a neighbour and don't rate him as a Chancellor either.

There's talk of CMD sending his children to private school now he is out. So much for principles !!

I see CMD's parting shot was "I was the future once"

No hint of bitterness there then !!

If I hear one more time the protocol for leaving and entering office I'll scream

The media do love milking it for all it's worth.

One in, one out, wish them both well, now get on with it. End of

To be honest I am sick and tired of the media trying to extract everything they can. We've heard what they all have to say. The only one left who has not been asked is Larry the cat!!! Don't the media love to play everything down no matter what it is and then when the markets become depressed and the pound falls they wonder why.
Theresa May has hardly got her slippers on and already they are surmising what she is going to do and what she is going to say. I wonder what she'll be having for dinner?
Let her get in, let her get herself organised and then let her get down to business and let's get the country moving out of the EU and into the wide, wide world standing on our own two feet.

No doubt something a little more upmarket from my eggs, bacon, chipolatas, chips and beans I expect.....but you never know. Let's ask the media they're bound to know :)

The threshold that Theresa May PM has just crossed will be the same one she crosses when she ceases to be our PM. I sincerely hope she stays true to her values and leaves this office with the thanks and gatatude of our great nation.

Good luck Theresa.

Good speech. I hope she can deliver on it. I certainly don't seem a viable alternative PM among any of the other parties at the moment

Well there seem to be at least three under the Labour umbrella, ranging from left of Lenin to the centre right!

Well we may not be a country of shopkeepers anymore but Theresa May has certainly set out her stall for the future. Out with the old boys network and in with a new socially inclusive style of conservatism

Excellent appointments thus far....

That seems just the sort of woman we need to sort out our law and order, she will go down a bomb with the top brass in the police.
