He's either tied back or beheaded the yellow rose - last week he had to bend himself in half to get under it, but noticed a couple of days ago he could emerge from his front door almost upright.qbman1 wrote:Still hasn't done his garden, I see !!

Gove gone..........what a shame. Mrs May could have made him minister of knives and put him in charge of the steel crisis

The people of France generally Stephen. My cousin was in Nice, but is safe and well. Now I hear there is a problem in Belgium. It's time we got tough with these lunatics, and reintroduced a death penalty for treasonable acts, including preparation, planning or assistance in treasonable acts.

Re: Current Affairs
They are simply cowardly in the extreme targeting innocent people to create as much carnage as they can. I cannot believe how anybody can be attracted to such a brutal, callous and despicable organisation.
It's a sad day for France and for democracy throughout the world.
Apparently though, many extremists are radicalised in prison................................

Re: Current Affairs
We are off to France a week today, staying in a house about 30 mins north of Nice up in the hills. Our family will be joining us there, they are flying into Nice airport while we will be travelling by car from Cherbourg, taking a couple of days to do it. Will these dreadful atrocities make us change our plans - no. I suppose what it may make us think about is going to any of the very, crowded tourist areas. How these single attacks are stopped I have no idea but these fanatics mustn't stop us doing things - which is presumably what they want. How on earth any human being can do what this man did and purposely drive into crowds of people including, apparently many children I can't begin to understand.

If these attacks make you change your plans, the cretins have won.

I'm not put off going to France by terrorists. I am put off by their unions who go on strike every third day and cause chaos you're much more likely to be caught up in! Not worth the aggro.

We just have to carry on living our lives and not let these events, horrible as they are, disrupt us
