I was a woman on a mission today, clothes shopping for the cruise. There's not a lot of choice where we live but I had been into Cardiff recently and picked up a few things.
Success today two lovely floaty dresses one in the sale, some good bargains in Precis dresses once £99 down to £39 and £29.

That's me done now for the next 3 cruises.

Well done, Lindsey. It is very satisfying when you have a successful shopping day.

My husband thinks I'm sickening for something because I didn't buy a single thing in the MS sale today - well, I think that is what he said and not just that I'm sickening

Not if their contributions are as accurate as this one  .

Anyway, according to Briony Gordon in the Torygraph today, they are far too busy willie-waving (am I allowed to say that? )
Yes, you are allowed to say "Torygraph" :sarcasm:

The Lady C's first evening dress for formal nights came from a charity shop (£10) and she looked stunning in it. Don't forget Primark, TK Maxx and Matalan :sarcasm:

I have just been told about 'Just Last Season' an internet site which sells new last season's stock. At the moment there are listings from Dash, Eastex, Jacques Vert, Windsmoor, Precis, Kaliko and Planet in sizes ranging from size 6 to 24. I've just seen a dress I bought last August from Kaliko in the Debenhams sale, the original price was £120 I bought it for £65 and its on this site listed at £29.99 and its my size, so annoying.

They have evening through to casual clothes including coats and jackets. IMO its worth a look.

I've been using Just Last Season for a while now. It's good if you want something smart. I bought a lovely Jacques Vert jacket reduced from £149 to £29! I know its last season but I wonder how many of us women insist on only having this season's fashion - whatever that is!

who decides what is or isn't casual?
casual to many is jeans and a tee shirt, smart casual is decent jeans and a collared shirt
no doubt the fashionista's think we all should dress up just to go shopping
