So here's a poll for you. We've voted Brexit, TM is the new PM so what next?

You missed "imprisoning Mrs Krankie for high treason" off the list !

Remember her speech ?

The most important thing for her to do ( thus ensuring that we really are all in this together ) is to consult with the high rankers of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland so that the Brexit negotiations are representative of the entire ' Union '.

Shame on the OP for not including this item .... voted therefore for ' Other '.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Lets not beat about the bush we really need to set things in motion and then look at trade deals both worldwide and in Europe. Jean-Claude Juncker, François Hollande and Angela Merkel are still sucking through their teeth at us but they will soon come off their high horses when we start talking trade deals with countries outside the EU.

We really need to tighten our borders but I'm not keen on franchising border control out, it should be state run and lets use our armed forces alongside a national border force. I don't like the USA's idea of border control and state security but I do admire the Australian system.

I have voted for Labour most of my life but when Cameron promised he would reform the benefits system I voted Tory, Cameron let me and the hard working people of this country down when he let the Human Rights brigade talk him into relaxing his plans.

Yes there are people who find it difficult to work because of disability and I honestly think they should be given as much help as possible, but I have a friend who lost both legs and she still does a 35 hour week in a local council office. She has a Motorbility car that has been adapted with hand controls and her house has also been adapted with the aid of a grant, I have no time for the glass backs who use aches and pains as an excuse not to work. I have had arthritis in most of my joints for many years and sometimes had to push people about in wheelchairs that were fitter than me.

A lot has been said about immigration but if the government stopped paying jobseekers allowance until all the job vacancies have been filled there would be no excuse for the EU to push free movement of labour down our throats.

I know I will probably upset one or two people with my post but I think this human rights malarky is a shield that a lot of people hide behind.

Well given that Mrs Krankie doesn't want to leave at all I thought sorting out Top Gear was more important!

But if as a Modplod you are able to add "consult with Scotland etc" as an option I have no objection. Though since she is PM of the UK should she not also consult with high rankers in England?

I would certainly have preferred a 'choose 3 of these' to a 'choose just one'!

Sorry Meg, wasn't sure how to do that! Not set up a poll before and can't edit it now - unless there's a handy Modplod around!

I would have preferred to have 3 options, but since we only have one I have voted for withdrawing from the human rights act, I expect that the Brexit minister and the overseas trade czar will cover the others I want.

I've asked one of the Modplods whether it is possible to amend the poll so you can vote for three

You don't upset me Raybo. If Cameron had managed to get rid of the freeloaders who are riding on the backs of the disabled then maybe there would be more money available for those who are genuinely disabled and their carers.
I came across a guy who had never done a day's work in his life due to a bad back but it didn't prevent him carrying a two seater settee on his head half a mile to his home.
And I agree it's time to eliminate not working as an option.

I have a niece and fair dues she was born with a slight problem with her leg and despite treatment as a child she has a limp. She married this guy who suffers from epilepsy and has never worked due to the fact that he could be a danger to himself and others especially near moving machinery.
My niece with her limp (which does not stop her going clubbing in places with no seating until 03:00) has qualified for a Motorbility car but cannot drive so her husband who is not allowed near moving machinery is her designated driver. I had to ask them this question " If you are not allowed to work near moving machinery why are you allowed to drive a machine that can travel up to 70 mph ?" the answer was if my seizures are not on a regular basis I am allowed to drive.
Now come on people if the seizures don't disqualify him from driving over a ton of metal about how is it they disqualify him from working ? you can't have it both ways.

Another thing that amazes me is they have a young child and although they are both sat at home all day on benefits that amount to around £600 p.w. they get a few hours child care so they can go about their business, this at a time when hard working couples on minimum wage netting below £400 p.w. are suffering cuts to their child care.
Yes David you let me and the workers down this is not what you promised.

I would be very happy if they made work pay so you were appreciably better off working than being on the dole. Rob Peter to pay Paul perhaps?

Disappointed no-one's voted for sorting out Top Gear yet.
