I have just found out that l am one of only 10% of world population who can touch their nose and chin with their tongue.

So what evolutionary trait has been passed on to you?

P.s...Not sure this is anything to do with genetics but have a go at this.....

Sit in a chair, lift your right leg up a few inches then proceed to turn it in a circular clockwise direction, whilst doing this place your right hand in front of you and draw an imagery number six...you'll be amazed what happens with your leg.

The rest are cats, dogs, cows, giraffes and camels. They can also reach other parts of their anatomy with their tongues but we don't want to know Keefy!!!

...if you take God out of the equation then the general consensus of scientific opinion is that our universe is made up of atoms which are believed to be the building blocks of life on earth, so if you believe in Darwin's theory of evolution then we must all have evolved from these building blocks therefore we must all be related

My daughter can bend her little fingers back to an angle of 90 degrees... this genetic trait must have skipped a generation or two because neither me or my wife can do the same.

Hi Ray.....not as unusual as one might think, nevertheless some genetic malformations can have functional and social stigmas attached to them.....l know of a young lady who has a stump (tail) at the base of her spine.

We've all got a coccyx, Keith, mine's fairly prominent, too, and gets bruised easily (and painfully). It's the anchor point for the gluteus maximus, not the remnant of a tail
