It's someone else's tumbledown shed - they have another entrance at the back as well. It looks to be a fire hazard to me and it could well spontaneously combust tonight !

That reminds me of when I was on Operation Burberry - the first firemen's strike. We were called out to a fire on an allotment, someone's shed had caught fire. By the time we got there, there was one upright remaining, about 18 inches of it, with a small flame flickering round it. One of the lads on the Green Goddess got a fire extinguisher out and put what little fire there was out - there was nothing else to ignite, so it would have been better to leave it burn out. As we left, a local lady expressed her gratitude by giving us one small can of lager - between six of us.

Rest assured I shan't be rushing to call the fire brigade when that shed accidentally catches fire !

Now, as it seems you have some experience in the matter SS - what's the best accelerant ?!

OK, spent all of yesterday beefing up the bunny protection measures by adding a smaller gauge chicken wire around those parts of the allotment where the baby bunnies could get through and then get stuck inside when they grew too fat to get out again! My hands are in tatters so if that doesn't work I'll be sending in the SAS !

Ok, we used to live in a house which was visited periodically by 'thugs bunny'. We successfully used a combination of plastic coated wire fencing and then various 'spices' on plants which thugs bunny and his brood liked to eat. The 'spices' included paprika, cayenne pepper and a very strong curry powder. It worked - and yes, they did comment on it!

We don't live there any more, now we just have squirrels and foxes with a threat of badgers to come!
