Not my first words to my beloved but to move things along a little mine was " shall I bring my toothbrush" ( the rest is history )

Oh heck, it was so long ago - but I seem to recall that there were two elements involved.

One of us was offering the other one a lift to an evening do, and also there was some discussion about replacement of cv joints.

Oh well - we did the evening do, and then we sent a lovely Sunday together, sorting out the cv joints on his car.

He started one night but before he could move on to the second part of his witty repartee, the young lady involved looked at her watch, sighed and said, "Oh, alright then".

My very first meeting with my nearest and dearest was at a wedding

She was a brides maid and look so pretty, I do not remember if I even spoke to her, as we were both just seven years old and oh so shy and innocent

We meet again aged 16 at a sports centre, and I was paired with this extremely good looking young lady on the Tennis Court, and we went on to be very completive and successful tennis friends

Playing tennis was the only way I could glance her underwear - shapely legs - and a firm bum if my memory serves me right

70 odd years later I still admire the muchbeloveds shapely legs and firm bum
